What is ‘Paint Your Own’?

We have a choice of over 400 different types of pottery pieces to paint including a huge range of homeware and decorative items. Once you have chosen, we provide everything you need to relax and enjoy the creative process. We ask you not to eat in the studio as it is a working pottery.

  • You only pay for the item/s you wish to paint, all glazes and firing are factored into this cost. We have a large variety of colourful glazes, including glitter glaze! We do not put a time limit on the tables.

  • You leave your items with us to be fired in the kiln. Pottery takes roughly two weeks to be fired, we will contact you when your finished items are ready to be collected. 

  • We contact you to collect your items. If you are unable to collect we are able to post your pots to you for an additional charge, fee is dependent on weight.

Takeaway Kit

We have bags and boxes available which include everything you need for the Paint Your Own items you choose.  These include small pots of glaze, palettes, colour wheel and brushes.

We charge a deposit which is partly refunded when the kits are returned. The deposit is £40 for a box, £35 is refunded and £20 for a bag, £15 is refunded..

You can borrow the kit for up to a week so there is no rush, you can relax and have fun while painting.

The Late Night Pottery Painting Evening is 7 - 10pm on the last Friday of every month, this is a relaxed evening for adults only and you are welcome to bring a bottle or other drinks if you would like.

  • The Late Night Pottery Painting Evening is 7 - 10pm on the last Friday of every month, we ask for a deposit of £15 per person which is then taken off the bill at the end of the evening and for a minimum spend of £15 per person when you visit.

    If you need to cancel or rebook, we ask for at least 24hours notice so that we can try to fill the table and may be unable to refund the deposit.  This evening of painting is for adults only and you are welcome to bring a bottle or other drinks if you would like, no food allowed in the pottery as this can affect the glaze of the pots.
